Scar Camouflage Tattoo

Scars & Stretch Marks

Scarring and stretch mark camouflage is very similar to traditional tattooing. Stretch marks are indented streaks that often appear on the abdomen, breasts, hips, buttocks and thighs, and are particularly common in pregnant women because of the rapid skin stretching. This is a technique that uses the same toned ink as your skin to hide the stretch marks and/or scars. Once healed, the skin will feel and appear smoother and blended back to its original tone before the stretch marks or scar appeared.

Quick Facts

Fact 1

Although it is not guaranteed, the procedure for stretch marks and scar camouflage can restore some health to the injured skin.

Fact 2

Stretch marks are essentially a type of scar that develops when our skin stretches or shrinks too quickly. These abrupt changes in the skin will result in the collagen and elastin in our skin rupturing, and it’s actually in healing that the stretch marks appear.

Fact 3

One benefit of scar/stretch mark camouflage is that it is a cost-effective treatment when compared with surgical treatments.
